I can imagine just how much of a ballache it must be! Has anyone tried prepping, priming and painting on top of the chrome? Or does it create a nasty mess?!

I have carbon wrap with chrome rings on a standard s2 grill and it's pretty good.

My DIY black grille is looking past its best, so I think it's time to go RS2 replica. Be interested to see what's available.

Anyone got any experience with the Cool-Wheels grill? 110 euros.

Well after a bit of thought and a quick search, I have a cunning plan! Will update here and on my build thread :-)

Another option is to swap the black surround from a damaged RS2 grill onto a stock one.

Looks like this.

Works well. Not too many RS2 grilles knocking about in my experience though, damaged or otherwise!

This is my grill. RS2 but still not sure if I prefer the original grill....
