Hi Guys, Just had some idiot rear end me on Friday, not worried about damage to bumper and body, as that can panelbeated, I'm more worried about the trim that goes around number plates and rear lights, will a 1991 A6 rear trim fit the S2. I know some bloke breaking an A6 for spares, going to see him his afternoon.
If so I have the number plate surround which is cracked but can be repaired and the RH side light with two small hair line cracks. Also have a tailgate glass with small chip in glass. Based just outside Durban.
All of these parts as of 18 moths ago were still available from Audi SA.
Make sure you pick a good body shop to do the work the one I used lost lots of parts and it has taken me years to get it almost right.
The rear light has a type of putty/seal they must replace it or it will leak water into the car.
Good luck with your repair, sorry to hear about your accident.
