UrS4 vs UrS6 upper door mouldings

Hi guys, been looking at getting new set of upper door mouldings. According to ETKA they are the same for UrS4 and UrS6, I thought UrS6 came with different ones?

I have new S6 ones and they come in primer.I would imagine if etka says they are the same then the only obvious difference would be your are black.

Just checked some pictures on file and i would say they are different.But hey ho.

If they need painting, I don't really mind.

They do look different don't they? They seem higher and slightly different shape

Well that's a bummer. How do I find them considering I don't have PN?

Would it look weird having UrS6 mouldings on UrS4, painted black?

There are these ebay knock offs, but when I bought a set for my A100, they were too short so looked pretty bad. When I asked Audi about OEM units, it would cost me £400+ which I am not ready to pay for some strips

I have S6 trims on my S4. They are wider and have two rows of clips on the back side. You can just cut the upper row of clips off and slide them on OR change your doors to S6/A6 ones. There is also a difference on the end of each where the door has a small hole for a screw that holds the ends in place. It's not a huge deal either. Drill the door to match the trim.

I was just thinking, it would look pretty bad. because top of the door mouldings wouldn't be in line with bumper mouldings.

You didn't ask ETKA the correct question (or something). What you are calling "upper", we call "mid" door mouldings. The *MID* door mouldings are definitely different between UrS4 (C4 Audi 100) and UrS6 (C4 A6).

Here are some of the PNs for the C4 100/UrS4 mid-door trim (Items 1, 2 and 10). Note that the V8 trims are smooth and body coloured, hence they come (came) in grey primer.
