Water in rear footwell.

I have been getting water(ammount varies) i the rear drivers side footwell.

From reading earlier posts i think the leak is either from the plastic strip across the boot lid or from the rear lights.

I have sealed the screws that hold in the said strip but need to know the best way to seal the lights. I know people on here have done this but dont know how.

Car is a coupe by the way.

on my old 90 quatt i sealed the back lights with Sikaflex windscreen adhesive and it never leaked it costs about a tenner a tube
