full respray

i am based in the BEDFORDSHIRE and am looking to have a full respray done on my s2coupe, would be nice to have some recomendations of people who are known for good work.

the whole car EXCLUDING the engine bay needs to be done, i want all the glass out, door and boot shuts painted. job has to be A1.

rear windows are a ball ache unless you have the hinged ones, i re-sprayed mine last year, everything else is pretty straight forward tho, im thinking of changing the color of mine again, not much goes with blue leather interior part from silver tho!!!

My paint job was done at Dawsons in Bournmouth, easily one of the best places in the UK, they do have a web site, they have done a few ricers, but the job is always of show condition!

the car is a really dark blue at the min almost looks black, i want a slighter diffrent shade maybe ming blue or something along that line or a porsche blue will see.

how much did it cost to paint yours at dawsons?

Hi, sorry about the tangent, but has anyone converted to the hinged ones from the fixed ones? I looked at a diagram of how the solid ones are attached and it seems like it would be similar to the hinged design (with two mounting points at the front of the glass)...

I'm not sure it wasnt me who paid for it it was done as a show car originaly by them. Though i have to speak to them about getting my front done again as i had a run in with my garage wall! So i can always check with them. Mike

The pearlescent will be dear.. it should not be any different but it always is. it will be classed as specialist work i bet.

Getting mine done for 2.4k by www.countryrestorations.co.uk. Rear arches flared, glass out and everything re-aligned. Includes long guarantee. They've just moved into their new place which has everything needed for a first class job.

most of the quotes i got were around the 2k mark? What would you guys say is a reasonable price for a full respray then including the rear arch job?
