Mudflaps are not cool, but they do help to keep all the crap off the car. My personal preference would be to chuck 'em, but then thats maybe why my car is caked in crud

Took mine OEM ones off the day I got the car. (They did preserve the bodywork nicely though.

Mudflaps are for rally cars and old men only

            Cheers,

            Steve.

Yeh managed to fit that and the Samco's prior to the meeting, pressure tested it and it was all fine.

Installed a shortshifter, what a pain in the *rse that is! (Thanks Doug and Greg) and MartinJS and Mark Halligan helped doing the powerflex rear diff mount, again a really pain as the bolt have rusted to the sleeve and needed some "persuading" to come out.

Lee found out my top mounts are knackered and i've got odd drop links one metal one plastic.

What happened to you? Thought you were coming up to the meet.

Didn't want to take my Baby out in the bad weather :

It was a long drive for just one day and I would have been up for it had the weather been better...

I will definitely be meeting up again in the summer, I haven't driven the S2 much due to the crap weather we have been having so it will be nice to get out in the sunshine again soon!

Sounds like you need another garage day to finishing tweaking your car now though

I don't blame you. All that salt on the roads too. The car was in a right state by the time we got home. At least the speed cameras couldn't read the number plate (I hope).

Mine had nudlflaps all round but I had to remove the fronts as they foulled on the wheels. I like them And hate all the crap that goes up the side of the car now I have removed the front ones.
