C4 S6 engine undertray?

I have just completed another oil change in the URS6 saloon this evening getting ready for the Scottish tour and it's MOT tomorrow, and tried to fit the under tray,mine is missing,from the 2.8 30v and it doesn't seam wide enough.Has anyone got the part no for it and before i put out a seeker has anyone got a undamaged one for sale?

C4 100/S4 A6/S6 belly pan and hardware

Actually it's called the Sound Dampening pan or Sound Deadener.

PN 4A0863821AG is for all the 4, 5 and 6 cylinder C4s including the 1997 C4s (when I think the C4s in Europe and the UK had the 30V engine (we only ever got the 12V AAH).

PN 4A0863821AF is for the V8 C4s, i.e. my 94 ABH, the UrS6 AECs and the S6Plus

The pan (which helps to control the air flow to the side mount intercooler, the oil cooler, the front brakes, and the cats as well as improving under car aerodynamics and keeping the engine bay cleaner and safer from road debris) and the rear hardware is in the first diagram.

There are a total of 9 fasteners involved:

1. Three items 9 (PN 4A0805121B) and associated hardware in the first diagram - for the rear edge of the pan.
2. Four Items 21 (PN 4A0805121A)(and associated Items 22 and 23) in the second diagram
3. Two items 6 (PN N 01021527) and associated hardware in the first diagram for the leading edge of the belly pan.

That might be Dave in US/Canada but here in Uk we call it undertray like we call a bonnet but you call hood like we call a boot but you say trunk!

Are you saying then that my 2.8 30v tray should fit the S6? Maybe i was rushing as it was getting dark but it looked like it might be not be wide enough.There is the crucial difference in the wheel arch extension which extends down into the front front bumper being wider in that area than the lesser versions. What say you Dave?????

1. Being Canadian with some connections to the UK and Scotland, give me a little credit for fully understanding both BritSpeak and YankSpeak and knowing the difference. Thanks.

Regardless, my friend Kate who is fluent in many languages, including German, UK English and US English, etc. is the one who gives the parts their proper AudiSpeak names

4A0863821AG in AudiSpeak us:

a. German: Geraeuschdaempfung (Good luck even try to pronounce that one )
b. UK English: sound deadener
c. US English: sound dampening pan

2. I am saying that all the C4 4, 5 and 6 cylinder vehicles used the same 4A0863821AG pan. I think you need to try again. (They are always tricky to get back on. I've had experience with 93 S4 AAN, 94 S4 V8 and 98 C4 A6 V6 pans)

Semantics my old china graph. I just noticed in your diagram another more smaller tray,erm, .. .. "sound dampening pan" That's missing too.I guess i will have to find one of those but in the mean time maybe nick it of the S6 estate if it has one.

Just a thought.Has anyone else got the second smaller tray in Daves diagram on their S6??

Just checked the Estate,front large tray present smaller rear tray AWOL!

That clears it up then and there was me thinking mine was AWOL which as you know is punishable with 30 days in hole.
