Ragusa Green....

Guys,

I think I am a bit confused. I think Ragusa Green is darker and more greyish than this RS2. Can anyone tell me what the color of this car is??? I presume a factory Audi color.



Wheras, I believe this one is Ragusa.



But, maybe I'm just confused and seeing them in different light?

Any input appreciated to set me straight.

If the lighting is good, I would say the top (1st) one is emerald green. The bottom (2nd) one definitely looks like Ragusa to me.

Others may have other opinions. I have an Emerald 93 UrS4 and I've pulled parts off a Ragusa green Euro C4 avant.

I'd agree the top photo looks Emerald to me

Gosh, I didn't realize the RS2 came in all those colors. I thought it was more of a limited pallete. I've never seen one in Ruby Red for instance. I've seen so many urS4's in Emeral Green, so now that I look at it, it does look Emerald.

I definitely prefer the Ragusa Green. That must be a pretty rare color.
I quite like it!

Most seem to be black followed by the RS2 blue.

The Ruby Red is in my opinion the best colour for the S2. Stole some pictures from the forum. You've lost a lot in your life not seeing it.

Will hopefully get some better photos on location this weekend. But here's a taster

Have you ever seen an RS2 in that color? I've only seen S2 or Coupe.

The Ruby Red is in my opinion the best colour for the S2. Stole some pictures from the forum. You've lost a lot in your life not seeing it.

Looks a little bit like "Venitian Red" which is a Volvo color, which is coincidentily also a BMW color. Same color with just a different name...
I think BMW calls it "Calypso Red".

Now that I look closer, this color looks more orangey than the pic above. The Ruby Red looks a little deeper.

Neither of those Volvo and/or BMW are anything near Ruby Red (which was "Cyclamen" in the C4 UrS world.)

Easy:

First two are amethyst grey (which is lighter and more purple). Second two are Volcano black (darker and no purple).
