S2 Carbon Mirror Covers

Afternoon all. I was down at VRS on the weekend whilst a mate had his MX5 with Evo engine transplant mapped on the dyno.

They had an 80 down there with carbon mirrors on it. The fit and finish was really good and they looked spot on.

Does anyone know where they may have come from? Ideally I'd like carbon RS2 mirrors rather than S2 style ones but beggars can't be chooser and all that.

Didn't get a picture though.

This sounds intresting if somebody makes carbon mirrors.

Any possible that they were "dipped" ?
