I need to get a sand blasting tool.
Please help me with some tech info about choosing one.
Will need it for blasting rusty car body, suspension parts etc. Will a sand blaster work also with soda?I saw some tools with vacuum for recycling blasting material:http://www.eurolincos.bizoo.ro/vanza...r-cu-aspiratie
I saw some tools that pressurize the recipient where blasting material is kept and some tools that get blasting material in the gun by absorption.
What about air compressor?Minimum storage in liters? And liters feed/minute
Maybe a minimum budget needed to get a reasonable tool/compressor?No need to use it industrial but also i do not want 2 days for blasting a rim.
    Thank you,

      Thank you,
I'll have to check later today how much flow my fathers home made compressor has, but it's a lot bigger then what you usually buy at a hardware store. And what I can tell you right now is that you need a lot of air. I'm using a sand blasting cabinet that can fit about one rim and when I blast a rim, it'll drain the home made compressor pretty fast. The point is it takes a lot of time and air: 8 bar is a minimum for most blasting (with exception for glass blasting). So if you want to blast a car body, then you'll need some serious pressure and airflow.

Some day I'll own a screw compressor...

I was looking for something like 200 to 400l storage and 200 to 400 l/min flow compressors. But how efficient something like 20l sandblasting tool will be?

I'd recommend searching on the Mig Welding forum.

Lots of users on there have blasting setups

200l/min flow is not enough, I am using this http://www.magazinulcuscule.ro/scule...vor-metalic-1l with that flow and it`s ok until the presure drops under 6bar

Have you looked into a water pressure cleaner with sand blast attachment? We have one at work that does a good job getting rust off gas 30year old gas pipes. It's a cheap alternative if you price it up against paying someone or hiring a decent sized compressor. I got quoted $220AU a day for a diesel compressor that would be decent sized enough for blasting.
