Cruise control or Tempomat on URS4/URS6!

Can anyone make a picture or write down here where is the cruise control pneumatic actuator bolted to reach the throttle body on the AAN? how long the connecting rod is?

And do you know where is it's vacuum pump located? It is impossible to find any diagram on the internet about the AAN cruise control...only for the 2.3-10v.

    Thank you in advance!

Hmm...I think you need a new search engine.

Thanks for this mate, now I see where is that stupid vacuum pump located...Hope to get into that place whithout dropping off the wing/fender. Unfortunately that etka picture on the first link is belongs to a 2.3 n/a 10v engine and the other pictures of the AAN is too dark to see where is the actuator bolted

I saw on the net a smart guy that removed the connecting rod, and added a cable which was holded at the back of the accel pedal of his b3 (using an A8-d1 tempomat kit)...I could do the same thing !

That diagram is from the parts listing for the AAN. Audi re-uses diagrams and they don't always represent each car perfectly.

Sorry about the lighting on the AAN photo. I will get my professional photographer, the same one I use on all my info posts, to get right on that in the morning with a re-shoot.

In the meantime, this might help you (or not):

Now this is more like it mate!! Now I can see the actuator is holded by a plate (which I do not have) and bolted on the engine mount. Might Audi sell that plate?

They choosed the WORST place for the actuator!!!! I have all the LPG tubes over that side of the engine and is pretty a lot hard to reach that place!
