    Temp differs in outlets!

The HVAC outlets near the drivers door is pumping out much hotter air than the center outlets. Any ideas on where I should start? It's as if it's not cooled at all really. The center outlets are actually a wee bit too hot too, but I'm guessing it won't cool the air enough - I prolly need a refill! But the temp difference, now that's puzzling me.

You got electronic CC right?? Any fault codes??

I would say that the air from the centre vents is coming straight out of the heater box, but the side vents have further to travel and maybe the air warms a bit??

Yeah, I really should look into that. I guess I could just plug my VAG-COM in and check it out.

The strange thing is that there is such a big difference. When I have the driversside outlet fully open it actually gets hotter in the car.

Now it hit me I had problems last winter too! The drivers side footwell was cold as ice and the rest of the car was hotter than "u-know-where". Nobody else had these problems??

If you have auto A/C it could be that the vacuume actuator for the footwell flap is leaking off. I had a similar problem with my car, eg. hot air out side vents & no heat to the floor.
Above the throttle pedal (LH drive) you will find a connector with various colored vacuume lines. Pull this connector apart. Apply a vacuume to each port to see which element is not holding a vacuume.
Keep in mind please that I have a US spec vehicle.

Heres most of what you need to know, i have 3 photocopied pages(cheers quattroboy) that you need to rebuild/replace the motors BTDT and it wasnt pleasant.PM me your email and i can send you them.

Vagcom will pull the codes but you can also get them from the unit by following the instructions on the above thread.
