Would an aircon condenser from another Audi fit the S2?

my elec. climate control is not really working, blowing cold air, but not very much , and a local aircon guy told me that the condenser/rad was leaking, allthough he could not get his equipment to measure the leak

So i was thinking, that the rad might be the same of a 100 or 80 model which would make it alot easier when getting a new one, since i would not have to go to the Audi stealership, but could shop at the local dealers which carry alot of standard Audi parts, but never heard of a S2.

So question is, which models should i be looking at

There are 2 types of condensers depending on the MY and refridgerant used. It's about pre 93 and 93 and onwards.
Same part is used on every 5 cyl b3/b4 chassis car of the same age.

So if you have a 3B you'll be looking at t89(b3) 90, coupe and cabrio and if you have an ABY you'll be looking at B4 2.3 NG, S2, RS2 and later coupes and cabrios.

ok, great, mine's a 3B, so any 5 cyl. audi in the type 89 family will do for my car, should make it alot easier finding the condenser without paing stealership prices.
