    Temp Guage

    Hi guys,

got a small conundrum for you. My temp guage keeps falling asleep on long journeys after about an hour. It only comes back on if I turn the heat and fan up to full whack (drying my eyeballs) and wait for five mins.

    Any ideas??

I have already had the joints in the guage resoldered just in case it was dry joints.

Surely it cannot be the temp sender as it would not work at all. IF it is a loose connection where to start engine end or rip the dash out and start there?

Has this happened or happening to any of you?

    Cheers

Common issue with the S2 - I have it too at the moment, periodically it just goes to sleep. It seems to be more reliable when I use the air-con. I understand it's the multifunction temp sender thingie.
