Same here on my Avant. It switches off after 10ish minutes. Its always off before I get to work and its only a 20 minute drive.

Mine is on a timer, but goes off after about 2-3 minutes. I guess there's something wrong with mine

Turns out that there are two different rear screen demister switches. One of them works on a timer and the other is a straight on/off switch.

I don't know the part numbers, but comparing one to the other, the on/off switch is about 1cm shorter that the timer one.

I've just noticed this since I swapped switches around through the week to get all the lighting working properly. It looks as though I've swapped a timer switch with duff lights for an on/off switch with working lights.

It's a shame Citroen Saxo fog lights aren't on a timer!

Coupe's require longer rear screen on time than Avants 'cos they are usually full of water. I know but I'm dry now.

My name is David I owned a soggy Coupe, for the last 3 months I've been dry ( applause) Hmmmmm I notice a commonn theme there!

I'm an AA member but they gave me a yellow card!

Pampers under the carpets may work......

I will do a Thread in the BTDT section about sealing rear lights.
