You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Has anyone else experienced there heater falling out of the housing, I discovered a PO had tried to use duck tape to secure it in place this resulted in the heater falling out and having no air pass though the heater matrix making it a very cold car to drive.
Hopefully I fixed with a large amount of Araldite as the original clips would not hold it.
This happened to me shortly after I'd put the new dash in and swapped the heater unit over to no-aircon. Made a right clatter which sounded more like something trapped in the wheel till I figured it out! The whole unit had completely fallen out and was just sitting whirring away in the top of the footwell! Took a good twist to get it to lock in, and its not easy to see with your head in the glovebox!! - . Not had any problems since!
