    Removing Heater core, how??

How the H*LL do you do it??! I've gotten the dashboard out. But the damn plastic cover is like WELDED on to the chassi. I'm soon burning the car

I've also taken out the pass side airbag bracket now..

I don't understand where it's fitted and what screws to loosen.

The car is my 95 s2 Avant with AC.. LHD as you can see.

    It's not welded
Just 2 small bolts go through the firewall so take out 2 nuts from the engine bay side.

If you don't want to get the A/C refilled, you have to split the air box vertically inplace. You'll see where. Just take out the clips that keeps the 2 halves together. And yep, few of them are in a pretty nasty place on the firewall side

Hmm Ive already tried loosening nuts from the engine bay, but it must be the clips that are holding the box together on the firewall side then. mow many are there to loosen there?

YES!!!! Yesterday it came off. God damnit this was the nastiest thing I've ever did to the car. Removing the tranny seems like child play compared to this. I will NEVER do it again, it's never, ever worth it.

This is why I had to remove the heater core. Too bad I didn't see this when I bought the car. Would have lowered the price some..

Now the interior looks like this

No problem mate. Scratching your hands pays off as you don't have to get the a/c refilled.
