Heater matrix

Great post guys, half way through the job today already and it’s going like a dream (so far??). Just noticed both my a pillar trims have cracked….. if anyone knows where I could get some please get in touch as assume they are easier to replace once I have the dash out. Cheers

You can replace them quite easily with the dash in place.

However, getting hold of them will be another matter, breakers, or a request on here is about it, perhaps Ebay.

If they can be repaired, perhaps even covered with cloth, then I would be tempted to go that way.

Thanks Peter, made a few enquiries with the breakers as old ones fell apart.

Have got stuck getting to the heater matrix though. Can’t get the blower unit off. Two bulk head bolts fully removed and all four vertical metal clips off 2 front 2 rear (what a pain the rear ones were!) but can’t get blower unit to separate from central unit…. Anyone else had any problems or found other fixings?
