Where does this connector go?

My car is a RHD RS2 with manual aircon (as all RHD cars were). My heater blower has suddenly stopped working. I pulled the dash cover below the steering wheel and found an unplugged connector behind and below the back of the heater controls. Does anyone know where it goes? It appears to merge into the same loom that is plugged into the back of the heater controls in the second pic below. I suspect this disconnected loom is the cause of the sudden failure? TIA.

Looks like the main plug to the heater controls, explains why it has stopped working.
It should just plug back in the area around the ac button on the right.

We do all like the very easy fixes NICE. Shame they aren't always that straight forward
