  • O-rings Climate control 3B - where to buy?

Hi, I need some O-rings for my 3B C.C. (on the compressor connections and the evaporator), are these parts still available? From where?
Found this link https://www.carid.com but they don't list the 3B as they are in the U.S. Maybe the 1991 2.3 parts will work?
    Cheers, Leif-Helge

Hi, my local Audi dealer here in Norway told me to check out audi traditition, I did but didn't find anything there.
Update: found it now, with part. no search. But for part no. 40, 43, 71 shows up as same part no in Audi tradition when I search (803 260 749 D). Part no is the same except for the the last letter B, C, A? I don't think theses are the same size?

Buy a green o ring kit from ebay or amazon
          Example:
          https://www.amazon.de/Temperaturst%C.../dp/B01LAM2REI

Note that there are many sellers selling same kit / similar kit with different price levels.
Scroll to the bottom of the amazon page for more proposals.
Measure carefully old size and check that new o-ring is 100% ok quality.
China made o-ring may have some production mistakes in the o- rings.
Check original o-ring sizes from ETKA, but even then there can be variation in sizes in sensor position o-rings.

Classic parts is expensive place to buy the rings and at the moment their e-shop payment system is not working via paypal.

AC o-rings are hydrogenated NBR - you can use any seal the right size. Often you can find new p/n with the same dimensions as the old NLA o-rings - this is how I bought them for my climate retro-fit. Also Hella sells a selection box of HNBR seals which are good quality & solve most of them

              Hi, thanks for the advice!

Got the O-rings from https://www.autodoc.co.no but one (the smallest one on the evaporator)was the wrong size, whats the right size here on a 3B? The groove is ca 11,8 x 13,8 (hard to measure with the pipe installed on the car.
Also the threads on the new drier is different from the old one, new 1,5 old 1,75. Where can I get the correct drier?
And removing hoses was a pain, AC system has not been opened in 12 years, driving in winter on salted roads is taking its toll
