You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
My orginal Zexel ac compressor makes bad noises and I have been looking for replacement with no luck. Have changed the outer bearing by myself but the compressor still sound like concrete mill.
Does Someone still repair these?
One that I found was silly money (+750€).

Answering to myself. I bought a new 250€ lucas compressor from Internet dealer. When compressor arrived it was obvious that it was not a direct fit. Instructions that came along said that you have to transfer the hose fittings from the old one and so I did.
Now I have cold air and less bad noises.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem : I bought a NISSENS 89101 as replacement of my 8A0 260 805 AC as the site Mister Auto told me they are the same. But like on your picture, gaz in and out are different. What are the instructions ? Is there something special to do or just exchange the 2 bottoms ? Thanks Thierry
