    Radiator Fan Constantly On

My radiator fan is constantly on, even with engine and ignition off. Just running down my battery. have looked at previous threads about this problem and have had no luck with their methods.

With just the batery connected causing the fan to go i have pulled all the fan relays and this has not stopped it.

I am assuming i have to take the whole wing off if i want to get to the blue resistor pack which im not in the mood for.

Im wondering if any one had exactly the same problem and how they fixed it.

You can see the blue resistor pack if you lie under the car passeneger side just before the wheel. ( Undertray off first )

Sounds like your fan has found its own earth.
The fan is wired up constant live, the switching part is done through the earth wire.
I would have a look at wire from the fan switch on the rad. might be catching and rubbing...

Had a similer problem on my old 10v2.2E though it didn't do it all the time. we sorted by taking the wires out the fan so it was off and I had a bypass wire which I just pluged in when necessary. so never sorted it just stopped it. sorry not much help.
