Audi RS2 Avant A/C Hose from Compressor to Dryer

Greetings everyone! This is my first forum post on any site so I'm not too familiar with how things work. Regardless, I am looking for an air conditioning hose for a 1995 Audi RS2 Avant with the part number "8A0 260 707 AF". I have already contacted Audi Tradition Parts to inquire about it but they could not find one sadly. Its definitely a long shot trying to hunt this part down in the first place, but if anybody has any info or some knowledge on where one of these might be hiding I would be extremely grateful! Thanks for your time and best wishes,

    -Reed

I appreciate the link but sadly that one has more holes than the one we pulled off the car haha. I probably should have specified the condition before posting, my apologies. Thank you for looking anyway!

If nothing comes up that's in good enough condition then that's probably the only option

Unfortunately that pipe is very hard to find second hand, it probably the one that's most prone to rotting after the one that goes into the inner wing on the turbo side of the motor, those get a really hard time with heat and dirt etc...

Been thinking about this and as long as the end fitting nuts are salvageable then I cant see why a decent pipe fabricator couldn't make you one up from scratch using the old one as template.

Hell if they can match the nuts they could make you completely new one as they'll be able to flange the ends with the correct dia's, might be quite expensive but would look really tidy and last for a good 20 years.

I do know an engineer in the UK who knows a specialist who can do this, the guy does work for his company occasionally, I look after his cars for him as he doesn't like doing mechanics. We were only talking about this the other day as he needed some custom pipes made up for an industrial air-con unit that he had to repair, okay different scale but same materials and princliples. I can make inquiry's, and find out if he's prepared to take the job on, it'll be well into the new year though as these guys are very, very busy.

You should be able to find someone in the states that could do it, just a case of tracking them down, easier said than done.

Oh yeah , nice to have another US RS2 owner here, there's a few of you now.
