Umm where is this supposed to be connected to ?

Whilst fitting my vacumn line to my ECU for my boost gauge i found this just lying next to it.



Is it supposed to be connected to something

When i pull on it the heater speed switch try to move back and forth ?!?

Yeah I'm 95% sure it should be connected with the heater.

If you remove the heater you will find that it should connect into the rear off it.

It basically controls the settings, I.e Speed, direction.

its one of the venterlation flap cables
if arround ecu could be unerblack plasitic housing above transmission tunnel

Ahh right, my heater does work at all speeds and with all directions as i checked but i'll have a poke around when i remove my centre console.
