So my heater fan only works when set to maximum. Any less and there's no air pumped into the cabin. Any ideas? No AC in the car btw.

Usually the heater blower ressistor pack.
Located above/behind the glovebox.
Just missed a new one on fleabay too >>> Linky
New I think they are around the £45/£50 mark.
Fitted to a lot of the Coupes/80's/90's and even some A4's.
Aircon version is different.
Try VAGparts for new, or try www.allaudi.co.uk for a secondahnd one.

Well I bought a 2nd hand heater blower resistor from the bay, any tips on swapping them over? I found the fitted one above the glovebox, but it looks like the kind of thing I could easily break....Irvin
