At the ELSA have this instruction:

    It´s DONE!

It´s DONE! But the V87-1018 doen´t came out!!!!

I can help you. There are 2 bolts that hold the klimabox fixed to the firewall. Second pic, under the letter A, there is one more something like 20cm under this bolt. Then remove the air filter, and there yow will find 2 more bolts to undo. Inside the car, there are some screws and nuts holding the air ducts.

Look at the A bolt, there is one exactlythe same something like 20cm under the A bolt. If the klimabox is moving, then the top of the heaterelement is stuck against the horizontal pillar above it. Just pul like u wanna destroy everything

At the passenger side, there is a hose that carries water from the heater matrix! It´s OK too!

At the drivers side... there is a screw near the accelerator pedal, it´s no more there! (the left red circle on the picture)

I have pulled it out.. it cames a little more.. but.... I guess that I forgot something... some bolt.. because it doesn´t want to came out!!!!

I hope my problem is just at the heater area... something that I need to do to get more course to pull it out!!!!

Could you help me a little bit more???

            Cheers,

I had this problem. The recirculation actuator vacuum hose snagging on something. Have you disconnected this small vacuum hose?

this recirculation actuator should stay on the right side, isn´t it?
My problem is on the middle!!!

It's a small bore plastic vacuum hose that goes through the rubber grommet with the A/C hoses to/from the evaporator, where you removed the M10 Allen screw, that's the only thing I can think of that you have missed.

that side is absolutly free... (the evaporator side)

This hose would not block the central part.. the heater box... At the heater box... is it all done? There is no more bolt that need to be unscrewed?

That was nothing holding it in. Maybe the heater core was stuck at the top, like i already mentioned, or the AC pipes were stuck. What was it?

It was just space to take it out...

I have unassembly the airbag sensor and than I could pull it.
There was little hose behind as mensioned, the vacum line, the central plug for the air condition ecu.

Now its out.. and I have changed the evaporator!

I want to thank you skull and 4WhellDrifter for your help!

                          Cheers,
