    Strange A/C issue help!!

It seems that my RS2 is having some issues concerning the A/C.

When the A/C is turned on,i have an extra engine sound that elevates along with rpm which it didnt have before. We have used 700cc of a/c freon fluid, and the cold air is very good.
However as the a/c turns on,the engine temperature comes very high!! I saw 3 lines over 90 degrees again, then engine oil elevated as well, and oil pressure dropped near 1bar on idle.It seemed as if i was running in a circuit or a track day!!!

When im on an open road doing 120-130Kms the temperatures are fine.

Im thinking that i may have a compressor issue,or a A/C radiator problem.

I wanted to ask,is the coolant water running through the A/C radiator or freon(A/Cfluid?)

if the radiator is blocked, could this be the problem of the elevated temperatures and still have cold air blowing in?

    thanks

sounds like the fan is not working ,the condenser (ac Rad ) is in front of the engine rad so if fan is not cooling the condenser then heat from this may cause engine rad to get warm
    skint but fast

what can go wrong that the fan wont be working correctly when the AC is working?
there should be some kind of ecu that tells the fan to start on the low level of A/C and as soon as the extra cooling should start, then the second level of the fan should kick in.

Where should i look for the trouble to fix?

Check if the fans start when you switch on the compressor. Check also if you have the 2 wires connected to the fan plate.

fan seems to be working when A/C is not on.meaning that with the fan switch of 85-93 degrees,as soon as the 85 mark is reached,it goes on,then stops.
i will check today if the fan is working when the A/C is turned on

            Ok,
the fan is working.at the beggining it starts with the small low level, and then it goes to the high level.
when the car is stationary the water temps never rise.On the clima there was 80 degrees and on the spedometer it was on 90degrees.

This is what it amazes me.After i replaced the multifunction switch the speedometer most of the times i get a 10degree difference between the ECU temp sensor (behind the motor block) and the multifunction temp sender.I have to replace the ECU temp sensor once again just to make sure that everything is new, because all equipment is managed through that sensor, rather than the multifunction temp sender.

anyway, now after this was checked, compressor pressure never exceeded 2bar,fan is working...why was the temperature going up?why was the oil temperature also going up?I agree that yesterday it was very hot, could have been 45degrees celcius outside, but still the car was not under heavy pressure, nor it was driving fast either though,so all heat was being ventilated through the radiators, ventilator.I dont know why,but i think yesterday,as the speedometer temp reached 114degrees and the clima temp reached 93-94 degrees, the radiator then worked on the high level, due to the switch i have been using which is a 85-93 degree switch. But why didnt it work in the high level as the A/C was on???

im going to replace the ecu temp sender, and see if there is a better accordance between the 2 temp numbers(clima and speedometer's).I do hear the sound of the compressor being different, but my specialist here assures me that even if it is ready to break down,it would never cause high temps, since the freon pressure never rises the 2.5bar.

1)should i change the ecu temp sender to see if there is more accordance between the two sensors??

2)could the compressor be in the last peaks with result the rise in the pressure which could cause all this trouble but in the mean time make it appear casually??

            your thoughts??

i hope everything will be sorted this monday...

it seems that my previous regass was made without any oil and this is why the kompressor had been making all these noises...Now i went for a regass on a different shop, everything sounds normal again.Although i was amazed that i had lost 500ml of freon!!!

We used a highlight fluid color to mix with the freon, and use the A/C as much as i can over the weekend so as to establish where the leak is,or if there is one...I hope we can find it,although im very much for the idea of replacing all rubber hoses since they have been there over 13 years and it is time to be replaced...
