    Water In The Interior!!! Help....!!!

Hey guys... I have some coolant-heater-flood problems!! My car is consuming about 1\2 galons of water every 15min the floor on the left side is totally wet. Dunno anybody of you if the 90's Coupe Quattros have any problem with some water tube for the heater?? or if is the AC\heating radiator?? Do I need to remove the whole dash? how can I do it? help me pleaseeeee ASAP!!!

Your heater matrix is probaby leaking. To remove/replace it you have to remove the dashboard I'm afraid.

You could bypass the matrix at the bulhead with a short length of tubing to get you by in the meantime , without cabin heating of course.

I done this job once before, it takes a fair bit of time to complete. Details of how to tackle this have already been posted I'm sure. Have you tried searching the forum for details?

Ive replaced my heater matrix this year in my 94 v6 avant.
          Took me about 10hours work.
My S2 has similar symptoms as you discribe but I though the matrix had been done already due to the rubber bulkhead gasket round the matrix pipes is missing??
going to invesigate futher before I remove the dash

Is there anything else it could be because I always got a wiff of coolant in the car with the V6 where the S2 dont smell at all?
