AC manual control

Hello!
Somebody from you knows what does the pins 40 and 41 at 3B engine; 6 and 41 at AAN, ABY engines?
I whant to fit air conditioning Manual in my coupe and i dont know what the pins are doing!
I know that in UK are not so many automatic clima on S2 cars!
Please help!

Somebody sugested that the pins ar shorting internaly when you turn on ac and the ecu says OK. if you are at full throttle the ecu will cut the link and the compressor stops....
But is not right! I dont know how the ecu controls the AC throw those 2 pins.

Pirvu - I sent you a PM with some info for AAN/ABY/ADU

I've also been comparing the schematics for manual aircon on 3B and ABY engines. Pin 41 from the ECU on both those engines has the same function - they connect to the aircon wiring in exactly the same way.

Pin 40 on the 3B ECU has the same function as Pin 6 on the ABY - I have double checked that with schematics here that show 3B and ABY interacting with manual aircon.

The schematic for manual aircon on ABY is five pages - I can photocopy for you if you like. There are five relays/controllers used for this purpose (one is afterrun pump control). Let me know.

Yes. The 40 goes to 6 at ABY.

The 3B schematic on s2central was confusing me. It's always good to double check these things anyway. I'd rather you didn't have smoke coming from your ECU when you first fire the engine up.
