    dryer and hose/pipe

My hose/pipe that runs to the dryer is leaking and I sent an email to my local dealer explaining the part no.http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=44
He said that with a leaky AC system you need a new dryer as well, and that they could change it for £600+,- +refilling the system for $£50,-

Do you need a new dryer, and how much does this really cost in parts?
Do anyone have links to someone who sells the pipe?

I just replaced the pipe from the bulkhead to the dryer, and replaced the dryer too.
I got the parts from VAG parts. Think it was ~£70 for the pipe, and ~£150 for the dryer?

I just got the dryer £30, new replacement part of fleabay.de
I need the hose within a week so I have to get it from a dealer instead of vagparts.

VAG parts were pretty quick for me... Have you tried contacting them?

^I'm sure they are quick, but anything over £18 as to be sent through extra customs here in norway to determin taxes etc, so often parcels gets held up for weeks. Cant gamble on that now, I need the car done by june15

Just for everyones' reference, the receiver drier is available from GSF for £36.50 + VAT, part number 17563, Audi part number 8AQ-820-193AB (as listed on my GSF receipt). It's the same as the A4 one.
