Nissens stuff is crap quality. DONT bother with it. I would buy genuine, not too expensive only about £20 dearer than the Nissens one. Well it was for my 3B, not sure if ABY is same rad, but the genuine rad is a lot better quality. Just think it has lasted for 10+ years

thanks for that mate, just fitted a nissen rad into mine the other weekend. was the easiest job ive done yet on the S2, new mounts came to about £20 inc vat and the rad was £105 inc VAT and it isnt bad quality. Looks like it has copper fins on it anyway.

I paid £109 plus vat for my genuine one. From my stealer. Fits like a glove and comes with parts AND labour warranty. I couldnt be arsed to do that job again. Its a crap job on a 3B with AC. No room to move. Battery and ABS are right in the way.

                          Greg,

have you got the Nissens part no. for the radiator you fitted? I just had a look at the nissens catalogue and I couldn't find any radiator for the ABY (Audi pn 893 121 251 S). They did, however, list the 3B radiator (Nissens pn 60442, Audi pn 893 121 251 G).

Does anyone know what the differences between the 3B and ABY main rads are?

I will dig the part number out when i get home today, I think it was just an Audi 80 type one since it uses the same rad. WIll let you know later anyway.

I've got Gregs old rad in the nissens box in my dining room The part number on the box is 60442, same as a 3B one.
