    Replacing engine coolant

I've dropped the coolant on my car and flushed it out sevelal times, I know it takes G12 plus, (60% water 40% antifreeze) but how many bottles (1.5 ltr) do I add to get this ratio as I carnt find anywhere how much water the system holds.

You'll need two bottles as the systems holds ~7 litres.

Fill the matrix with a hose pipe first, no air locks then.

        cheers

many chances for airlocks, keep a very good eye on the coolant level the next months

Having just done this on my 80 Sport ( B2 - DZ engine) I can vouch for how easy it is to get locks......
Last time I replaced rad and had no problems this time ( two weeks ago - stat & clean out)was dreadful.
Looks as if I also have a tired water pump that probably did no favours either ! I must have spent about 4 hours+ trying to sort out, in the freezing cold of course
