can anyone tel me how to re-produce this problem woudnt mind a way to start my rad upon a click of a finger

As far as I'm aware, when you swith the air-con on, the fan activates to pull air thought the air-con rad, as it is in front of the normal rad. It doesn't spin at full speed, more like half speed, or the same speed as when the run-on pump is activated.

Fan is on all the time the a/c is otherwise the condenser will overheat and reduce cooling on the evaporator. No fan=no cooling (except when in warp factor 2 or winter time)

Yep - radiator fan runs permanently at speed#1 when air-con is ON - it's to help pull air through the condensor.
