    Front washer bottle access?

Autocheck light flashed up so topped up with approx 4lts water & fluid, started the car few hours later but Autocheck still flashing and no water from jets.

Big puddle of soapy suds underneath so Im presuming pipe has come off bottom of washer bottle, as washer motor still whiiinning.

Am i being a spick, whats the best way to get access to check & refit? headlamp out or inner arch?...i've only had chance to have a quick look..

left front wheel off, and inner arch off should give proper access. best to lift the car, as it is not nice with the car on the floor...

Yeah, also you may get better access by removing the undertray too so you can get your arm around both sides of the bottle

You WILL need to get the inner arch liner off to SEE anything of interest. I hate to break it to you, but my bottle spang a leak somewhere and the only solution was a new one... I hope it isn't that for you, although it is not too difficult to change...

Deffo agree with the advice about wheel off and up in the air too.

        Cheers,

        Steve.

Bumper off on an ABY is the easiest way. I watched my dad fix his with bit of a plastic from an oil can and a soldering iron. He cut a groove with a dremel, then melted the plastic into the groove with the soldering iron. I was laughing my *** off at the time but it worked!
