Search the forum for comprehensive posts about this... It is MUCH harder on RHD cars, but pretty simple on LHD. All the main AC components stay the same in the engine bay. All you need is the head unit, wiring loom and central airbox from inside the car where the motorised flaps and stuff are on the climate version.
All you need is a good donor car - lots of LHD Audi 80 models will have had climate control fitted in the factory.
