I wouldn't have though so the later ones used a dual zone system so i guess that means there are 5 flap motors? But maybe
Don't forget the B4 climate swap still needs to use the B4 evap side of the heater box

does the later B5 A4 digital climate control interior stuff fit our B4`s?
i.e the heaterbox with evaporator etc taken from a late model 1999 A4 with the later style digital display like this
any help appreciated
I believe that DCC will work with your A4 heaterbox and A4 fan speed control but you'll have to use a B4 evaporator. Keep the extra temperature sensors that are in the A4 outlets and move them over.
Difficulties you'll have to overcome will be the re-circ flap in you want to keep it operational.
The links Alex posted will help explain most things; I don't know how much changed (if anything) between the '98 model worked on in the thread and your '99 year.
I assume the lucar connector off to the side of the rear DCC connectors is for the HRW switch which has been added to the front panel of your DCC.
Having another look at the photos it looks as though your unit has a raised part at the front top which could be the air inlet for the cabin temperature sensor and the silver item on the back the little fan motor for drawing air over the sensor........if this is the case that would be good because finding space for the sensor and motor is one of the pains you'll have to go through - but it could be bad because it could make the Climate controller unit too tall to fit in the S2 dash opening.
As I say can't be sure because I'm only going on your photos but something I suggest you check.
