Don't think so. You might have an after-run pump switch/relay issue.

How would the after run affect the main rad fan when the engine is running

I have my after run switched and when activated works as should

Now you mention that it is the MAIN rad fan that is running.

If you have your after-run (pump/fan) switched, then it is NOT working as it should. The system relies on you to turn it on (and OFF), not just temperatures as per the factory intent. Fine if you remember to turn it on (AND off).

You could have a radiator fan switch issue of which I know nothing.

I have no problem with my After run, I have just by passed the temp sensor on the water manifold and it is controled by my Standalone ECU

The MAIN COOLING RAD FAN runs on all 3 speeds fine, EDITED The problem is when I turn the heater on in the car the fan starts running on speed 1 is this normal with the A/C off
