Magnetic Clutch on Aircon Pump.

Hi chaps just wondered if anyone has played around with the aircon pumps to the stage of swapping the later style multi belt pulley and clutch onto the earlier style 3B pump replacing the single V belt Pulley.

This way I can keep all my original pipework that is in very good condition.....

Are you use an AAN front crank pulley?

I think I have an ABY front crank pulley.
If I use the AAN one does this mean I keep the standard 3B aircon pump?

With your ABY crank pulley you should be able to use your existing 3B compressor pulley as they both use a vee belt - I guess they should all line up etc?
The AAN is different and uses a multi-vee ribbed belt for the serpentine setup

Ok cool, I'll check it out. Again it's not something I play with often. I could sware that Vas's ADU setup had multi V pulley on his aircon but guess I'm wrong
