So the latest breaker I have is fitted with air con
Car is immobile so I can't take it anywhere to hav gas removed(if any in after all these years)
Am I likely to poison myself or anything by just unbolting the lot?
Don't want the mrs finding me collapsed in a heap on the floor or anything!

What I did when I had to take the compressor off, was slowly opening one of the pipes, when I heard the gas coming out, I just left it for a bit to come out. And then it's all safe.

You wont get poisoned, just release one of the unions and get your hand out the way sharpish else will will get a dry burn from the refrigerant which is painful
