  • Quick question: Is this the temperature flap lever/motor?

    Hello

Quick question, where is the motor and the lever for the temperatur flap?

Is it this at the bottom on the passenger side? (Audi s2 93 mod)

My clima controll will not adjust the temperature, so I try to find the flap/lever/motor.

I think that is the temperature flap motor, what colour is the plug on the motor?
Have you tried to look on VAGcom to see what sort of fault has registered? i.e. open circuit etc?

I walked out to look, but its hard to see the colour on the plug.

But as I wrote to you in the pm, I have tried every button on the clima panel and watched all the levers, and this is the only one that is not responding to any of the buttons. So it has to be this ?

      This is my fault codes:

05.3 Outside Air (Ambient) Temperature Sensor, front, sporadic open

08.5 Temperature Regulator Flap, static block (*08.5)

      - has to be this code because nothing happens when I adjust the temperature on the panel.

      13.7 Footwell/Defroster Flap, sporadic block

15.7 Air Flow Flap, sporadic block

I removed the lever from the temperature flap today, and adjusted it by hand to the max, so now the car is giving med good heat
Opened the motor and tested it and it works, so have to investigate some more to find out why it did not work.

                Found out anything?
I have several faultcodes on my system but all flapmotors are clean and working.

Yes. My fault was the temperature flap motor.
