Hi folks. I'm new here so bear with me.. ;-) I'm currently looking at a 1992 AB S2. Looks good, and I've wanted one for ages (currently own a 16v coupe). However the heating doesn't work, and the owner reckons it may be needing a heater matrix. Is this a common problem? If so an expensive one to fix? Also is it not perhaps indicative of soemthing more serious such as it being cooked, thus a possible head gasket problem?
Sounds like it needs a matrix in it. Not sure whats involved in doing that on an S2...
Cheers,
Steve.

Yeah.. that's the one. Interesting thread. Ta for the link. Obviously I meant 3B S2 for sale too ;-) So assuming (big assume) this S2 is minted.. how much do you guys reckon it's worth? I believe it would cost around £400-500 to get this sorted assuming it is the heating matrix needing replaced.. Cheers
