You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
Yeah I have to agree, there is a trade off to be had. If you want that much HP it is going to be high up the rev range with a much narrower powerband than the stock. Allbeit alot more power in the power band.
It is always going to be a trade off, if you want the car for 1/4 mile and track driving it may be suitable but day to day you will probably want something that spools sooner.
You could look at a stroker which wont rev as much but will have a better torque characteristic.
i have gt30r on my car i am using .82a/r hotside. i have serious power from 4500rpm.
i used .63a/r hotside. serious power comes from 3700rpm but 50hp less on high rpm.
now i go back to.63 a/r hotside. much better on street.
Any power graphs with both turbine options? I have a 30R with both housings, but which to use on stock bottom end? Im thinking the larger may be better to reduce torque and so stop rod bending???
