  • turbo brace on Wagner Exhaust Manifold

Is a turbo brace required on a cast exhaust manifold?
I know this is something usually reserved for tubular manifolds such as the Pro-Mo (Jyrki) one I used before. However, I'm sure I read somewhere on the forum of people having issues without one but can't find the thread.

I'm sure you be fine without one. Not hard to knock one up if you prefer the insurance of having one. Would look nice in your engine bay too!

I've had a GT3071 mounted on a Wagner manifold for 5-6years now and it's fine.

I have the normal sport Quattro manifold and for peace of mind we have a small bracket fabricated which reaches the engine mount underneath. just a bit of extra support

i use a wagner tubular. have for around 10 years. not braced at moment but usually alway braced. the turbo. you can see acually changes the shape and position without a brace.
