3b downpipe question

Between the turbo and the base of the down-pipe where the Y pipe then connects, is there anything connecting it to the body? The family album shows a bracket but i don't remember ever seeing one. As the 15mm bolt is refusing to come off the turbo/down-pipe stud… I need to know i can just remove the engine with the downpipe attached. Figure i will need to potentially drop the front subframe to get the whole lot out too.

Not 100% sure this will help as I'm referring to ABY. Undo the bottom downpipe connection to give you some wiggle space at the top. Should come off then. No bracket to body on ABY.

Just to conclude this one…there appears to be no bracket on mine…unbolted (finally) from the top and it was free.

Odd…love to have a picture of it as I can’t see anything on the pipe itself to suggest it has sheared off or something. Will have to have a poke about the gearbox and see if it is there still

They usually rust through and get thrown away

The bracket is present in Ur and Aby s2 as well.
