  • Wastegate Assembly Question

    Hello.

I stripped down one of my Wastegates a few months ago for bead blasing and repainting etc.

I now have a new diaphragm but i cant work out how to put the thing back together .

At the time i though there was no point in taking reference pictures as the assembly would be so simple and straight forward. .

Can any one tell me if the parts in the pic below are in the correct order?

    Thanks in advance.

    Bo

Does somebody have the audi part number for the wastegate diaphragm? I want to try and order it at my local Audi stealer.

                Cheers

when i took the cover off, im not sure if it was the spring...but it sounded like something dropped out. Does anything sit between the cap and the spring?

Yes, there is a spring 'seat' at the top and the bottom of the spring, in Bo's picture it's the second item from the right.
