I finally managed to build my EGT Meter - mine has a switch to switch between exhaust gases and intake temperature. It also has a swith to put off the backlight.

It is very similar to the autospeed article - but I mounted it in a box - instead of the dash. I got the display from the link in the autospeed article and the chips as samples (so free) from analog devices.
Mihnea has a calibrated EGT so I hope to see what temps one S2 is getting WOT with his, then swap for mine and see how accurate it is. The ICs are suposedly accurate to +/1% at the high temps - hopefully see at the weekend.S2,RS2,S4 WB,RS4,S4 B8,RS6 C5,RS6 C6,R8Comment

DOug - remind me the wiring of that EGT module... I got one from Mihnea eons ago, but never managed to install it yet (story of my life). The wiring info was in German which I never translated yet. Gawd I'm lazy....

Paul - I don't know what you mean about wiring of the module?
