  • Yeehah!!! RS2 Air box

Fitted my RS2 air box tonight what a transformation that has made to my 3B it spools up so much quicker.... Much Happiness!!!

So my cast off ABY one has gone on to AshEnglands ABY to get rid of the poxy cone filter that drags all the hot air in from the turbo and Yeehah!!! its made a mega difference to that too.

So the consensus is that OE Airbox's rule...

Yup oe airboxes are better than cone's definately

3b standard box sucks badly and is a pain to get in out.
aby is better for fitment, better with a k&n and the front cut open
rs2 is best airbox, have you got the maf as well fitted to it?

The RS2 box can be modified with an even larger inlet tube. See my project thread: http://www.s2forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28808

Loving my modified airbox. Lots of time and care was taken over its design and the results are very good.

my filter never even gets warm and the air at intercooler level is nice n cool.

                    i have somewhere jamo.

pm me an email address as i have nowhere to host them. or tell me where i can host them on the forum if possible.it needs some nice new hoses that match but other than that i cannot fault it.

ill see a mate who has a temp measurer the gun ones and blast it over the bypass and take some temps. ill take some after a traffic run too.

You can host them on the forum in the gallery or scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click manage attachments and you can upload up to 5 pics a post.

Alternative is to host them on photobucket.
