    Vadim,

Your lucky I've just stripped it off of the car, here's a picture of the first half of the pipe, it joins with a slip joint half way down and exits behind the front wheel. No sound clip I'm afraid, but it is loud, as Tom has just posted elsewhere, as he has done it too.

    Hope this helps,

    Mark.

        Aha ... aha .... Thenx !!! Stainless steel ? 321 ?

        3 questions.
Is there are need for silencer (from your point of view) ?
        Does it split flames ?
Do I need a heat protection in the place where WG pipe exist to atmosphere(don't want to change side skirts too often) ?

        Thanks,
        Vadim.

            Vadim,

yes its stainless, but I dont know what grade.

Personally I think it does need a small silencer, but maybe that cos I am getting on a bit, as Tom likes to remind me .

Well the thing fires flames out of the back often enough, and I have seen big flashes out of the side before, usually in conjunction with loud pops and bangs. But usually I have to concentrate on whats happening in front of me when that happens.
To be honest the pipe doesnt really have a chance to get hot for too long as its only used on full boost when the wastegate opens.

Pops and bangs is an understatement!!! Awesome on the rev limiter!! LOL

I think for town driving etc it may need a small silencer.

@Mark, it does get very hot, mines already turned yellow from the heat! And its made from 316

It was wishful thinking, was listening to tom driving around with the mobile on and sounds mad. If i had one i reckon a silencer would be needed too though.

Hm , might consider a little heat shielding and a silencer then(but first will try without). Still need to get it running. Doh.
