You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.

Guys, I've got an old 034 log type manifold in my possession but was wondering the benefits of ditching the plans to use it in favor of a Wagner evo exhaust manifold.
My goal is a nice useable fast road car with about 450-500bhp. Would I get a less lag with the evo manifold? Also the 034 one is kkk flange is this more restrictive than a T3.
Log manifolds are crap for performance cars, they promote high EGT's and backpressure as each cylinder does not have a separate path to the collector / flange
The T3 outflows the kkk flange, whether it helps lag I don't know but will help bhp
So long and short of it is to bin the 034 manifold. I thought that would be the case as i didn't think it would flow well as the gasses are not being directed straight out the flange. I never really thought of EGTs but makes sence now it has been mentioned.
