  • Turbo parts needed...

In my search to find more exotic parts for my turbo i was looking through the billet wheels but that is not very good.

anyone has any links to magnesium/kryptonite based material that we can make turbine and compressor wheels? i hear they are quite light and durable.

Also any kryptonite exhaust manifolds? i bet those will last for a lifetime.... Unless they are toxic.... maybe drain all the engine's superpowers...

      sure no problem!

besides, superman is a pal, he'll get me the raw material on a better price.

      maybe a group buy?

Almost all of the manufacturers are currently testing TiAl wheels. Magnesium is the way to go for compressor wheels.

and nissan gtr had ceramic but they are not good.

there is not a lot wrong with what can be supplied already.

leave uprated shafts and wheels to those who need 4 bar of boost at 2k revving to ony 5 or so - WRC

                always remember bang for buck.

                vband and billet will suffice.

my turbo man said if its not broken dont fix it andf he is correct. if after a gear change you need to spool again then the turbo is too big or lethargic.
